Feature Changes

- In-game Speed Options menu now has a "Enable CPU Throttling" checkbox.
Enabling this option will allow StarCraft to consume fewer CPU cycles. By
default this option is off.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue with the reply feature where any character followed by a "r "
was being treated as a reply.
- Removed an unnecessary delay when processing palette cycling updates.
- Lessened the imposed delay in the CPU Throttling feature.

Enable CPU Throttling 本意是“激活CPU过热保护”。Throttling 是指CPU在超过设计温度，比如80度时，自动降为半频以保护CPU不烧坏。

有个老外说在双核CPU上玩星际的时候，星际CPU占用率100%，导致CPU过热保护，打了这个补丁以后，问题解决了。所以，这是一个bug fix。

This patch isn't aimed at old CPUs, its aimed at a game design flaw that didn't anticipate the use of multi-core CPUs. Take my situation as an example. I have a quad core processor thats insanely badass, I can run any game on high settings without any problem, but when I run broodwar, the game consumes all the cycles it can and causes my cpu to overheat. There is no reason for a 10 year old game to cause such a powerful CPU to overheat, this is what this patch fixs, My comp no longer freezes randomly in a bw game with this active. My cpu has never come close to lockdown temp even after running Oblivion or bioshock on highest graphic settings, but for some reason, with BW it does. So I love this patch and I hope Iccup converts soon !

移除不必要的延迟当进行调色板更新时，这句翻译的不知所云。

猜测processing palette cycling updates指的是BN更新游戏列表的延迟。

9楼，操作是F10-> O-> P 然后勾选CPU那项。 如果10楼所言准确，那这个对于单核好像是不必要的。

这个CPU 100%的问题是从Xp sp1 开始就有的，之前的时候不会，应该是windows的问题，难怪那个时候BOXER他们还在用98打星际。 只是很少人发现而已.和单双核没有关系。早就有人叫了。没有想到这么久才fix。 唉！！！

其实很多98时代过来的游戏在XP下运行都有这个问题。

虽然以前显示占100%,但实际影响不大.所以没改动.
现在要改动,是针对多核cpu的.因为会引起cpu过热.这是这个改动的主要原因.

所以这个老外喜欢这个补丁,而且希望ICCUP尽快更新版本.
可能他常玩吧.

估计是指在游戏里切换颜色时有延迟?用1.16.0联机特别是玩战网的可以留意原来1.16.0是否有这个问题.

无奈又用过了那个 1.60升级补丁，自带免CD的。。
